Derf knows his Puppy Drum! To clarify a little: As he said a Puppy is either in the slot 18 to 27'' or anything below 28''. A Yearling is between 28 and 40" (not sure exactly if it is 40" where the change is--Derf help me out on that one) and a Hawg or Red Drum is anything above that. They put on a HELL OF A FIGHT! Depending on what pound test you are using, a Big Red Drum could take you 30 minutes to an hour to bring em ashore.
