Made a trip from Charlotte NC to Knowxville TN to go striper fishing with ShadNasty on fisibook. We got out on the water around 645 AM. Todd got on the shad pretty quick and we had a bait close to full of big baits. We went up to the Melton Hill Dam on the Tennessee River chain. They had the water running and it didn't take long before we had our first 20 pound striper in the boat. We started drift fishing using 2 ounce egg weights and live shad a few reels off the bottom. The water was 60 feet by the dam but we were fisihng a flat that was about 15 foot of water. We only fished a few hours and caught 8 or 9 stripers all but one over 20 lbs and one over 25lbs. Todd put me on the fished just like he said he would and it was worth the trip. If you want to catch some big freshwater stripers check him out at www.shadnastyfishing.com
