I have a 1996 16' Willie drift boat (aluminum for those unfamiliar) and for those occasions when I take it on a lake I have an 8 hp Merc long shaft two stroke.

 

It's not much of a motor boat but it gets the job done.  She shines on the rivers though!!

YES ! THOSE DRIFT BOATS SURE DO SHINE ON THE RIVERS..IF I LIVED UP  WHERE YOU GUYS DO ,..I KNOW I WOULD HAVE ONE...
